This is my career canvas.
Prior to founding The PR CANVAS, one of my career standouts was leading the Broadway premiere of Head Over Heels, featuring the music of female rock icons THE GO-GO's.
I worked closely with original Go-Go's band members Charlotte Caffey, Belinda Carlisle, Gina Schock, Kathy Valentine and Jane Wiedlin on feature stories in The New York Times, CBS Sunday Morning, People magazine, Associated Press, SiriusXM, Los Angeles Times and more.
I also led the 12-time Tony nominated production of Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants the Musical at the top theatrical press agency, Boneau/Bryan-Brown.
Previously, I served as PR director for RKP Media, overseeing new business development and home entertainment/DVD campaigns including Logan starring Hugh Jackman, Jordan Peele’s Get Out and various HBO series ("Game of Thrones," "Veep," "Big Little Lies," "Insecure").
I was senior publicist at Polk & Co., handling project campaign work for FOX-TV's “Grease Live!,” Paramount Pictures release of Florence Foster Jenkins starring Meryl Streep, the opening of A.R.T./New York Theatres, and led the Broadway for Orlando charitable initiative (all-star benefit recording of "What the World Needs Now Love").
Notable Broadway shows include Disaster! the Musical; Anastasia; In Transit, the first a cappella musical by Kristen Anderson-Lopez; Julius Caesar, starring Denzel Washington; the Tony-nominated British play Frozen starring Swoosie Kurtz and Brían F. O'Byrne; and Disney’s stage productions of The Lion King, Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid and Elton John & Tim Rice's Aida.
I had the great honor of working closely with the nonprofit organization DKMS and the cast of The Lion King on its "Get Swabbed" bone marrow donor campaign to raise awareness of childhood blood cancers, in support of the late child actress, Shannon Tavarez.
Other career highlights include senior PR & social media manager for the labor union Actors' Equity Association; production publicist for the Obie-winning play, The Woodsman, a reimagined story of the Tin Man; Neil LaBute's acclaimed plays for MCC Theater: Fat Pig and The Mercy Seat (starring Sigourney Weaver and Liev Schreiber); the Tony Award-winning revival of 42nd Street; and the revival of The Music Man, starring Craig Bierko and Eric McCormack respectively, in the title role.
In New York, additional agency experience includes Full Picture PR (lifestyle and entertainment focus, including the “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show”), Michael Kaminer Public Relations (consumer websites/new media) and Ruder Finn (corporate communications group) where I started my career in 1997.
Proud member of the Association of Theatrical Press Agents & Managers (ATPAM) and Female Founder Collective, the women-led business network.
